Experimentation is key to building great product experiences for both customers and internal users. To make experimentation more streamlined and efficient, DoorDash developed a centralized experiment management platform, Curie. Curie also improves the accuracy of experimental results by applying methodologies selected by the experimentation working group and provides a portal through which users can share experimental results. The platform enables users to configure experiments and define metrics; ingests experiment exposure events from the data warehouse; automates the analysis of exposure and metric data; and provides a UI to review results – both during the experiment and once it concludes.
