Renee Shah


Renee is a Principal at Amplify Partners and focuses on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics startups.

Prior to joining Amplify, Renee worked at Google, where she was a core member of the emerging products and solutions team working on machine learning projects for e-commerce applications. In her time at Google, she helped drive the of launch Shoppable Images, a computer vision product for retailers and brands. Renee also spent time at Waymo, where she helped launch their 3D LiDAR sensor business for autonomous vehicles, drone, and robotics customers.

Earlier in her career, Renee worked for Boston Consulting Group where she focused on strategy for healthcare, retail, and private equity clients. As a member of BCG’s social impact group, she worked for the Clinton Health Access Initiative where she focused on identifying investments to improve healthcare in East Africa.

Renee holds an A.B. in Government from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

In her spare time, Renee enjoys playing squash, skiing, meditating and traveling off the beaten path (40+ countries to date). She enjoys a deep conversation about almost anything, especially 90’s hip-hop and the meaning of life.
