On Growing Up
I was born and raised in Napa along with four generations of my family. Like any small town, my parents grew up a block away from each other, and I went to the same elementary, middle, and high school as my parents and grandmother.
Growing up in a small town that’s very community-oriented taught me the importance of making connections and building meaningful relationships. It also taught me the importance of establishing and maintaining a positive reputation.
On Finding Amplify
Even as a little kid, I always knew I wanted to work in a big, open office. Warm and welcoming environments are important to me, especially in professional settings.
I joined Amplify because I knew I could trust the team, and I genuinely enjoyed spending time with everyone. I’m constantly inspired by Amplify’s work in finding great companies to work with and helping them build incredible products.
On Working at Amplify
My job at Amplify is to keep the San Francisco office running as smoothly as possible. I ensure visitors always feel welcomed, and our partners are continually supported.
I strive to be our founders’ go-to person, i.e., a trusted liaison between them and Amplify. I’m 100% on the entrepreneur’s side and enjoy working as an extension of their team.
I’m a very friendly, bubbly, and welcoming person. I love finding ways to optimize things and make tasks like scheduling for any Amplify team member more accessible and practical.
My favorite thing about working at Amplify is getting to meet all of the different companies we work with. They’re all so passionate and have such game-changing ideas — it’s inspiring.
On Life Outside of Work
I’m a Pilates lover; it keeps me sane. Unlike other workouts, it demands total and constant focus. Pilates got me back on my feet after I broke my back when I was 16 years old. I’ve been an instructor since 2010. If I’m not in a studio working out, you can find me walking my dog Oona or wine tasting.
