Data practitioners often scrape data from the web, including to collect new datasets or enrich existing datasets. However, scrapers often fail to scale to millions of records unless developers build features to rotate proxy IPs, minimize bandwidth usage, log massive amounts of HTTP requests and address other common problems. To enable web scraping at a massive scale, DataHen has released Till – a standalone tool that runs alongside existing web scapers without requiring any code changes. Till works by listening to, enhancing, and forwarding HTTP requests to the target server. In addition to circumventing detection mechanisms, Till also helps users maintain and debug scrapers and quickly recover from issues.
