topicctl is a `kubectl` inspired tool for managing Kafka topics in a transparent and user-friendly manner. Currently, Kafka topic management lacks a standardized, declarative interface for defining topics or querying the state of the cluster. topicctl uses YAML-formatted configuration files to manage clusters and topics; these files can be source-controlled to track lineage and support review processes. topicctl interacts with clusters through Zookeeper, but can be tested and developed locally as well.
